STRATHARDLE LODGE, Kirkmichael (Perth and Kinross)

Strathardle Lodge offers a variety of room sizes and styles. Options include snug doubles on the first floor of the main building, king-sized rooms with views of the countryside, superior suites, and family rooms. Rooms feature a shower or bath with overhead shower, a flat-screen Digital TV, WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, and a hairdryer. A small fridge is available for chilled water and milk. Some rooms provide space for dogs.

Strathardle Lodge is 50 km from Dundee. The village of Kirkmichael is 500 meters away, featuring a village shop, a local bar, and a restaurant. Activities in the area include golf, fishing, shooting, skiing, walking, cycling, and sightseeing. The lodge is 25 minutes from Glenshee Ski resort and is located at a crossroads of scenic paths and trails, including the Cateran Trail. It takes in the market town of Blairgowrie and as far north as the A93 snow gates at the Spittal of Glenshee. Strathardle Lodge is positioned at a great vantage point as the trail heads off in three directions from the village of Kirkmichael: Kirkmichael to Spittal of Glenshee - 13 km. Spittal of Glenshee to Glenisla - 23.5 km. Glenisla to Alyth - 17 km. Alyth to Blairgowrie - 26.25 km. Blairgowrie to Kirkmichael - 24.25 km.

For guests walking the Cateran Trail, pick-up and drop-off services are available for £15 a day. Regular classes are run on the premises. A car is advisable to get the most out of your visit. Edinburgh and Glasgow International airports are approximately 1.5-2 hours away. The best way to get to the Strathardle Lodge is to get a train from Glasgow or Edinburgh to Pitlochry.
